Position Title: Sales Associate

Status: Hourly

Reports to: Store Manager

Supervises: N/A

This position contributes to store productivity and profitability through the projection of customer service excellence in all aspects of the role. Non-management position with primary responsibilities for serving customers and selling merchandise. This position is also responsible for assisting with the protection of company assets through proper merchandising, loss prevention and accurate store system procedures and is approached with a concise training program focusing on all aspects of store policies and practices.

Sales and Customer Service

o Achieving the highest standards of customer service excellence in accordance with sales training objectives and as per company guidelines.

o Providing customers with knowledge on current stock/promos to complement product knowledge.

o Maintaining a professional demeanor in both attitude and attire at all times.

Store Operations

o Contributing to the successful operation of the store by closely following directives as instructed by Store Management.

o Complying with all company and store policies and practices, including asset protection and health and safety procedures.

o Assisting with housekeeping and maintenance duties in accordance with company standards.
