Individual contributor position responsible for protecting our assets which include people, product and property. Our mission is to become the leading Loss Prevention team whose capabilities, knowledge of our business and understanding of our Customer allow us to deliver value and mitigate losses. Position typically reports to the Supervisor of Safety Services and has no direct reports.

Position Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist associates, vendors and visitors at lobby or gate locations
- Observe, accurately report and follow up on incidents which may include but are not limited to: First
Aid, Life Safety and Internal Theft
- Make sound decisions during emergency situations based on the department's polices and
procedures
- Monitor access control and fire safety systems and assist in completing inspections
- Communicate with business partners, external partners and local law enforcement/emergency
responders
- Ensure associates, vendors and visitors follow safety and security related policies and procedures
- Respond with a sense of urgency and assist with emergency situations
- Special projects and tasks as directed by leaders based on needs of the business

Qualifications:

- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have a valid drivers license
- 1 to 3 years of security/safety experience preferred
- Experience with identifying safety related issues preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, SAP, access control software
& Web based programs
- First Aid, CPR and AED certification
- Functional knowledge of role and responsibilities
- Must possess good organizational skills
- Must have the ability to multi-task and be flexible
- Job may require heavy lifting or moving of an object or person
- Must be able to walk or stand for majority of an 8 hour shift
- Job duties require working in inclement weather
- May be required to work weekends and holidays
