Make a lasting impression and show your appreciation by immediately writing a short note to the interviewer. Use this note to thank the interviewer for his or her time and to reiterate your interest in the position. If you interview with multiple people, send each person a unique note.

Follow Up
The interviewer will probably tell you when you can expect to be contacted about a decision. However, if you haven't been contacted within a week of the date the interviewer indicated, follow up with a phone call.
